Norma Shipley

Norma has worked for each of the Alberta Medical Association (current), Alberta Health, and Alberta Health Services, spending most of her career with the AMA where she’s worked in a variety of physician compensation positions, developing a deep understanding and knowledge base regarding the Schedule of Medical Benefits and physician compensation issues. She offers billing education and training to resident physicians, physicians, and physician office staff on the Schedule of Medical Benefits and WCB Billing. She also serves as an AMA representative on the AMA/WCB Advisory Committee. In her spare time, Norma enjoys travelling to new countries; and when at home, teaching her 3 dogs various tricks and tasks – she thinks they enjoy it, too!
