WORKSHOP: AMA Billing Information; Virtual Psychiatry Billing in Alberta

Learning Objectives

Abstract

This talk will focus on updates to Alberta psychiatry billing codes and correct billing practice. Participants will gain an understanding of how to apply updated codes in their day-to-day practice, and where to go for assistance if additional information is required. Updates to the virtual mental health codes and planned fee schedule changes for April 1, 2024 will be discussed, along with tips to ensure your claims are consistent with Schedule requirements.
