Beata Komierowski is a fourth-year psychiatry resident at the University of Calgary. Prior to pursuing medical school, she obtained a Master of Arts in Economics (focus in Econometrics), and spent three years working as a Research Analyst, first for a Private Equity firm in Calgary and then as an Economist for a multinational energy company. He current professional interests center around Women’s Mental Health and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. She is passionate about examining the macroeconomic underpinnings of mental health disorders.
