Abstract
Mood Disorders affect more than 500 million people globally and it is the leading cause of disability worldwide.
Presentation will focus on epidemiology of the disease, neurobiology of the brain circuitry, potential impact on the brain structures, and the impact of mood disorders on physical health.
Evidence based treatments, and guide lines will be reviewed including the evidence regarding use of Atypical Antipsychotic medications.
