Abstract:

Alberta psychiatrists have available about 50 defined medical service benefits. These provide for care to patients, family members,
collateral informants, as well as collaborative care and advice to referring physicians, nurse practitioners, and other members of mental
health treatment teams including community clinics and care facilities. Learners will understand the governing rules and appropriate use
of these insured services.
