Dr. Paul S. Links, MD, FRCPC

Dr. Links is currently a professor emeritus in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University.

From 2012 until 2016, he was professor and chair of the Department of Psychiatry at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario, as well as chief of psychiatry at London Health Sciences Centre and St. Joseph’s Health Care in London, Ontario. Dr. Links is a former holder of the Arthur Sommer Rotenberg Chair in Suicide Studies at the University of Toronto. This chair was the first in North America dedicated to suicide research.  

Dr. Links provides consultations regarding medical assistance in dying (MAID) requests to the Hamilton Family Health Team, and he is a member of the Ontario Coroner's MAID Death Review Committee.
