
Nidhi Malhi is a Forensic Psychiatry graduate student at the University of Alberta. She holds an MSc in Forensic Science from Trent University and a BSc in Psychology, specializing in Behavioural Neuroscience, from Concordia University. Her research focuses on the intersection of mental health and the legal system, including mental health courts, criminal responsibility, and competency evaluations. She is committed to shaping policies that advance equity and effectiveness in forensic and mental health services, with a focus on improving outcomes for justice-involved and at-risk populations.
