
Dr. Sam Chang is a Board Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. He received his M.D. and general psychiatry residency at the University of Calgary. He completed an Adolescent Chemical Dependency Fellowship at the MAYO Clinic and a Pediatric Psychopharmacology Fellowship at the University of Toronto. Dr. Chang is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Calgary’s Cumming School of Medicine. He is also a faculty member of the Reach Institute of New York. He is the Medical Director of the Adolescent Addictions Program and admits to the Inpatient Young Adult Program both located at the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary. He does numerous clinical trials and continues to see new consultations in his office. He is a member of the Executive Advisory Board of CADDRA ( Canadian ADHD/ADD Resource Alliance ). Dr. Chang is a past board member of the Canadian Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and past president of the Section of Child and Adolescent with the Alberta Medical Association. He is especially proud of being made Honorary Medicine Man.
