Dr. Rawel Sidhu is a third-year psychiatry resident at the University of Alberta, and is also pursuing an MSc through the Department of Psychiatry. Under the supervision of Dr. Serdar Dursun and Dr. Michael Demas, his research interests include neuromodulation and interventional psychiatry - particularly for treatment-resistant mood disorders.
Originally from Vancouver, Dr. Sidhu completed his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Medicine at the University of British Columbia, where he developed a resilience to rain and an appreciation for Alberta's sunnier skies. His passion for advancing innovative treatments drives his commitment to improving outcomes for patients with complex mental health challenges.
