Dr. Nigar Abdullayeva is a psychiatry resident at the University of Calgary's Cumming school of medicine. She has a lifelong passion for human frontiers which she cultivated in her diverse research and teaching experiences in her MD and BSc Neuroscience. While studying medicine, she found her home in the field of mental health and merged it with her passion for improving the human experience. Throughout her years of research and teaching experience, she produced lectures, posters, essays, podcasts and publications which she shared at national and international levels. She has a mindful, contemplative, and compassionate practice. Her teachings strike a balance between the art and science of medicine and serve as an inspiration for clinicians to achieve the same.
