Dr. Carl Adrian, MD, FRCPC

Dr. Carl Adrian earned his medical degree in 2000 and immediately began his specialty training in psychiatry at the University of Calgary. Since completing his training in 2005, he has served as a consulting psychiatrist for the Psychiatric Adult Service at Foothills Medical Centre from 2005 to 2019, and as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary. He currently is the medical director of Dara Health in Cochrane, AB. Dr. Adrian has a strong interest in both individual and group psychotherapeutic treatments, including cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic approaches, and more recently, body-based approaches to the treatment of trauma. His clinical expertise focuses on the pharmacologic and psychotherapeutic treatment of adult ADHD, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, and trauma.
