Nia Abdullayeva is a first year psychiatry resident at the University of Calgary. She has a lifelong passion for human frontiers which she cultivates in her diverse research in neuroscience, education, and health humanities. While studying medicine, she found her home in the field of mental health and merged it with her curiosity for the endless facets of the human experience. Over her years of research and teaching experience, she produced lectures, posters, podcasts, essays and publications which she shared at national and international levels. She has a mindful, contemplative, and compassionate practice. Her teachings strike a balance between the art and science of medicine and serve as an inspiration for clinicians to achieve the same.
