Dr. Diana Meakins is a psychiatrist and assistant clinical professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Alberta. She has pursued additional training in Mindfulness-Based Interventions including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) through several university-affiliated centres in North America. Her main area of practice includes individual andgroup psychotherapy. She is also involved in work around safety and quality in the health care system; physician and learner wellbeing; and EDI issues.
