Dr. Laura Stovel, MA, MD, FRCPC

Dr. Laura Stovel is a general adult psychiatrist in practice in Edmonton with a special interest in psychodynamic therapy and group psychotherapy. She practices inpatient and outpatient psychiatry at the Misericordia Community Hospital and the University of Alberta Hospital. She is also a committed educator and mentor, and works daily with medical students and residents at the University of Alberta, where she is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry. She is the Assistant Dean for Admissions at the University of Alberta MD Program, and the Co-Chair (English Board) of the Royal College Examination in Psychiatry.
