Dr. Dana Sarvey is a board certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist who has devoted her career to the clinical treatment of children and adolescents with complex, co-occurring psychiatric disorders, as well as mentoring and teaching child psychiatrists-to-be who are still in training. Dr. Sarvey served as the Associate Program Director of the ART (Adolescent Acute Residential Treatment Program) and the Adolescent PHP (Partial Hospital Program) at McLean Hospital for almost a decade. During her time there, she helped develop a virtual-based Partial Hospital Program for Adolescents. She also continues to serve as an Instructor in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and has published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles, has delivered regional, national and international talks, and has provided training to hospitals, schools, and the community on salient topics of child mental health.
Dr. Sarvey’s commitment to bridging the gap within the child and adolescent mental health community as well as her interest in using technology to help clinicians deliver better care has been fully realized since coming to InStride Health as Medical Director. She enjoys being creative and innovative in how she connects with and treats patients and families. She is also interested in helping to shape and build a supportive and specialized community of clinicians, dedicated to delivering high quality care to the children and adolescents with primary anxiety disorders and OCD.
