Jonathan is a researcher in the UCL Division of Psychiatry and a specialty registrar in South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. After completing medical training at the University of Cambridge, he trained in psychiatry at the Maudsley Hospital in London. He is the first author of the British Association for Psychopharmacology’s Pocket Prescriber Psychiatry and has contributed to the Maudsley Prescribing Guidelines. His research focuses on neuropsychiatric disorders, particularly catatonia and the psychiatry of COVID-19. His work has been featured by the BBC, CNN and Voice of America.
