Dr. Delbert Robinson is a Professor of Psychiatry and of Molecular Medicine at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell in New York. He has led NIMH-funded studies focused upon first episode schizophrenia, tools to enhance antipsychotic medication adherence and obsessive-compulsive disorder. His work on schizophrenia first episode treatment response, relapse prevention, and, in particular, recovery has been highly influential in the field. He has served as a member of the Psychopharmacologic Drugs Advisory Committee of the Food and Drug Administration and on multiple NIH review committees.
