Dr. Jamil Jivraj is a second year psychiatry resident at the University of Calgary. As part of his Master's thesis, he sought to understand how adults with autism want to be involved in an integrated research process. He also led and coordinated a knowledge translation initiative funded by CIHR intended to increase awareness of autism research among diverse stakeholders. Prior to medical school, Jamil worked as the Scientific Program Manager at Health Technology Assessment International. He remains passionate about contributing to multi-level health system transformation with a special interest in individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders.
