Amber Barlow is in her third year of Community Rehabilitation and Disability Studies at the University of Calgary. She is a Pathways to Medicine Scholar, and plans to pursue a career in medicine. Amber is currently a family support worker at a homeless shelter in Calgary and is a research assistant for Joanna Rankin and Rachel Grimminck. Amber's involvement in this research allows her to explore the intersection between disability rights and the health care field.
