Paige is a first-year Psychiatry resident training at the University of Calgary. She is interested in a wide range of clinical work, but also has a passion for medical education and plans to pursue this work throughout her career. In line with this interest, Paige has been participating in some exciting simulation research taking place in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Calgary. This research uses a realist perspective to analyze which aspects of simulations work for which participants in which circumstances, and why, with the goal of informing and improving future simulation-based training in psychiatry.
