
Dr. Kimberly Williams is a neuropsychiatrist and Clinical Assistant Professor in Psychiatry at the University of Calgary, where she is highly involved in medical education including acting as the Competency by Design Lead for the Psychiatry Residency Training program. She is currently the Chair of the Canadian Medical Forum. She has been involved both nationally and internationally with various organizations in a leadership capacity including as a former President of the Federation of Medical Women of Canada and Resident Doctors of Canada. Dr. Williams has a masters degree in Global Health and is a Co-Founder of Kolabo a global health partnership between the University of Calgary and the Catholic University of Allied and Health Sciences in Tanzania. She recently she was awarded the Award for Young Leaders from the Canadian Medical Association and the King Charles III Coronation Metal for her work supporting women in medicine. She has enjoyed working with the FMD Calgary team and furthering research and education on this topic.
