Abstract:

Peak performance training is extensively used in elite athletes, performers, military and even in the world of business. More recently peak performance skills have begun to  make their way into medical training. One component of peak performance training that is particularly well-suited to medicine is “mental readiness”.  This presentation will provide an overview of peak performance with a focus on mental readiness skills. There will be targeted group exercises and activities, with the intention of motivating participants to incorporate at least one peak-performance skill or activity into their daily routine.
