Dr. Monica Hill, M.D., C C.F.P. (Fellow) is certified as a Cognitive Behavior Therapist (CBT), Gottman Couples Therapist, and Quality Provider of Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma. For more than 20 years she has had a practice focused on mental health, serving patients presenting with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, relational challenges using evidence-based therapies, including a transdiagnostic approach. She draws heavily on CBT, CPT, Gottman Method skills, and Mindfulness. She is grateful to have been directly trained by Dr. Candice Monson (CPT), Dr. Christine Padesky (CBT), and Drs. John and Julie Gottman.She received calls from physician colleagues and their families for 13 years as an Assessment Physician with the Physician and Family Support Program of the Alberta Medical Association.She lives and works in Okotoks, Alberta using virtual care primarily.
