Dr. Rupang Pandya
Dr. Rupang (Rup) Pandya is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Calgary.
Dr. Pandya works at the Peter Lougheed Hospital in Calgary and is the Psychiatrist Lead for the Medical Psychiatry Unit, which has been operational since 2009. He has been a consultant for the Consultation-Liaison Service since 2005.
He completed his medical education at Memorial University of Newfoundland and his Psychiatry Residency Training at the University of Calgary.
Dr. Pandya has been an examiner for the Royal College Examination in Psychiatry for the past several years.
He is very enthusiastic toward education of trainees and has had the privilege to train more than one hundred psychiatry residents over his career.
Dr. Pandya has a genuine passion for managing medically and psychiatrically complex patients on the Medical Psychiatry Unit in Calgary.
