Dr. Jamil Jivraj is a resident doctor specializing in psychiatry at the University of Calgary. Dr. Jivraj completed his undergraduate degree in molecular biology and his Master’s in Medicine at the University of Alberta. Dr. Jivraj served as the Scientific Program Manager at Health Technology Assessment International prior to completing his medical training. His publications span clinical research examining patient engagement in autism research to approaches to improve health technology development processes. He is a Canadian Medical Association Ambassador and the founder and lead of “Self-care, Community-care,” a resident led movement to promote resilience in medicine.
