Dr. Rachel Grimminck is a staff psychiatrists at Foothills Medical Centre working in the areas of emergency psychiatry, inpatient psychiatry, group psychotherapy and electroconvulsive treatment. She is currently the Vice President of the Foothills Medical Center Medical Staff Association. She is active in psychiatry residency education at all levels with a focus emergency psychiatry and simulation. She is also the medical education director for the Kolabo project which is a partnership between the University of Calgary and CUHAS university in Tanzania to enhance psychiatry medical education for undergraduate students. Outside of work, she enjoys live music, theatre and food with her husband and running with her dog, Eli.
